President Trump Addresses Annual Faith and Freedom Coalition Event

The president highlighted administration initiatives to support and protect religious freedom.

President Donald Trump spoke last week at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Conference in Washington, D.C., an annual gathering of Christian and conservative leaders. The event marked his first return to the Washington Hilton since a gunman charged the ballroom during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner two months earlier, and security at the conference was notably tighter.

During his remarks, the president emphasized the importance of faith in American public life, highlighted initiatives supporting religious liberty, and expressed appreciation for faith-based communities and their civic engagement. He also discussed election integrity measures, foreign policy priorities, and the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebration.

The president referenced efforts by his administration that he said are intended to protect religious freedom and encourage the participation of people of faith in the public square. He urged continued involvement by citizens in the nation’s electoral process and spoke of the role that faith has played throughout U.S. history.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump as he leads the nation and addresses issues affecting religious freedom and civic engagement.
  • That Americans would seek God’s wisdom and guidance as they participate in public life and governmental affairs.
  • For our nation’s leaders to uphold and protect the constitutional freedoms that allow Americans to worship, pray, and live out their faith without hindrance.
